Anyone can tell stories!

Australia still has the extraordinary privilege that allows the Bible to be taught to children in primary schools (and many high schools as well).

Lynda teaches scripture herself but also trains others in country NSW. She attended a storytelling workshop and was excited to polish the skills she already had. She writes, “The storytelling training has equipped SRE teachers to use it in class resulting in their primary children retelling the story of Philip!”

Storytelling the Bible brings out details as well fresh understanding of God’s word.  Everyone feels a sense of dependency on God to get the retelling correct. Anyone can tell stories, we had an ESL high school student, a medical doctor, and a trained teacher each told a story to a group of 70 people and left them with wanting more!

Lynda was pleased to discover that it is not just children who will listen to stories. Her hairdresser is also willing to listen to her practice before the hair drying phase of the appointment.
