Oral Bible Schools in Kenya
Most of the pastors in Africa are trained in Bible schools which use literate (often Western) methods. These schools haven’t experienced other methods. The pastor then graduates and tries to communicate the Bible with his people. They often struggle to understand their pastor. He in turn becomes frustrated by their lack of response and changed lives. He wants them to grow in maturity and naturally pass on the good news.
