Creative ways to share stories – henna designs
Jammu (juh-MOO), India
“A door has opened for us to train a few women in chronological Bible storying through henna, a short- term dye from a plant that, in this culture, is commonly applied in intricate designs to women’s hands.
Our prayer is that as we weave Bible stories into henna designs that can be applied to women’s hands, the women will take those Bible story drawings and share them with their friends, relatives and neighbors. As we train a few women in how to make these designs, pray that they will be fervently sharing these stories with many others and training other believers in how to make these designs and share them with others.
Ask that many women will hear the gospel in this manner, share with their families, and that many believers will grow in their knowledge and understanding of the Bible.”
