An Indian family trust the miracle working Jesus

I am doing the ministry of God as a storyteller. Our region was in need of this program so that the people could easily understand and know the will and purpose of God. Through the storytelling method it is easy to share and the gospel is spreading rapidly.

An Indian couple in their mid-30’s. They have three sons and two daughters. This was a rigid Hindu family that completely relied on the Hindu gods and goddesses. They believed in witchcraft and the sorcerers’ pronouncements that by Satanic power all fever, diseases and devil spirits could be cast out.

Then the wife became very sick from asthma and bleeding. They did all kinds of witchcraft ceremonies for her and made sacrifices to their gods. They also took her to a medical doctor, but she only got worse. They were completely discouraged. It seemed there was no way forward and nothing left to do which could bring the lady healing.

God’s plan is great for the people who search for Him. In that situation, I met them and they shared their problems with me. I urged them to leave the witchcraft and idol worship. I told them, “I will tell you a story. Just believe it and believe in Christ also — believe in the miracle of Jesus Christ.”

Then I told them the story of Jairus’ daughter and the bleeding woman. They listened in one accord. After that I prayed for the lady. I said, “Believe in Christ and He will heal you completely.”

After that prayer the woman began to get better and a week later she was completely healed!

Now she is a believer in Jesus Christ and has taken water baptism. Not only this lady but the whole family believed and were baptized! They are regularly attending church, spending time in prayer, hearing the word of God and living good Christian lives.

Really this program is very useful and is a blessing for the people. Hearing the stories, people are getting healing and the knowledge of Christ Jesus. Previously the people would sing tribal and cultural songs in their work places and festivals but now they are telling Bible stories and singing the story-songs everywhere they go.
