Creation to Christ story: blessing (one-minute version)

It seems that the world is cursed. It’s like everything is broken, and nothing can be fixed.

Christians believe that God created a world full of blessing. But people thought He had withheld some blessings. By trying to get them, they became separated from Him, and the world was put under a curse.

Jesus came to restore the blessings. Some believed Him. Others refused to and had Him put to death. In that way, He bore the guilt and shame which resulted from our seeking blessings apart from God.

Then Jesus rose from the dead. He appeared to His followers, and they were filled with the Spirit of God.

The same happens today. All who repent of seeking blessings apart from God and believe that Jesus died for them will be blessed. Their relationship with God will be restored. The Spirit of God will free them from the curse.
